Day 21. Liberal, Ks to Dodge City, Ks

 We pedaled 83 miles today stopping briefly to visit the Dalton Brothers Hideout in Meade, Ks.  The Dalton brothers were US Marshals turned Bank robbers in the 1820's.  Pictured below is the escape tunnel they built as a getaway.

The 83 mile ride took just over 5 hours.  Once again we experienced headwinds.  Temperatures reached into the high 80's and the humidity increased.  My jersey was soaked when I finished the ride.

Tomorrow is an 87 mile day.

Can't wait to have my riding partner back next week.
